Mrs Sapna Malik,  the founding partner of Legal Eye – Advocates and Legal Consultants in association with Enhelion, has launched a unique and affordable self-paced online course on the Drugs and Cosmetics Law.

India is the second most populous country of the world. Pharmacy as well as cosmetic industries have a huge market in the country. Since these industries cater to the wants of most of the population, it becomes necessary to regulate it. The Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 regulates the import, manufacture and distribution of drugs in India with an objective to ensure that the drugs and cosmetics sold in India are safe, effective and conform to quality standards. This course elaborates upon various provisions and rules under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 as well as the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. Also, this course discusses the requirements for wholesale of biological drugs and other drugs, various types of licenses and adulterated drugs as well as rules and prohibitions with regard to labeling and packaging.
